Foot clipper misjudgment
Phenomenon: The machine has completed a foot cutting action and the part thread has been formed, but the machine will still stop, and the incomplete foot cutting action will be displayed on the machine, and the REPAIR light will be on Reason: When the machine completed the foot cutting action, the entire detection circuit still did not complete a closed action, that is, the detection circuit was in an open circuit state, and the machine did not detect that the foot cutting action had been completed, resulting in misjudgment
The reasons for machine misjudgment include:
(1) The foot clipper is dirty. If there is oil or accumulated dust in the foot clipper, especially if there is the same dirt or dust between the fixed knife and the insulation pin, it will form an insulation layer between the conductive layer of the fixed knife and the insulation pin. This way, when the fixed knife and the insulation contact, the entire detection circuit will still not be conductive, causing misjudgment on the machine
Solution: Clean the foot clipper
(2) The gap between the fixed blade of the foot clipper and the insulation pin is too large, so even if a foot clipper action is completed, it cannot push the fixed blade to contact the insulation pin, causing the entire detection circuit to close and causing misjudgment on the platform
Solution: Adjust the gap between the fixed knife and the insulating pin to 2 to 3 inches per thousand
(3) The elastic top wire used for cutting feet is too high, causing the fixed knife to be pushed when the cutting feet are completed. Due to the high elastic top wire, the fixed knife cannot be touched by the top wire, making it impossible to close the entire detection circuit and causing misjudgment on the machine
Solution: Remove the foot clipper, readjust the height of the elastic top screw, tighten it to the bottom, and then reverse it by 3/4 turns to 270 degrees
(4) If the two detection wires connecting the foot clipper fall off or break, it will make the entire detection circuit unable to complete the closing action, causing the machine to misjudge
Solution: Check if the detection line is loose or broken. If it is loose, reinstall it. As the detection is disposable, if it is broken, replace the detection line
(5) If the detection line is not connected to the main body of the assembly on the base, it will also cause the entire detection circuit to be in an open circuit state during foot cutting, causing misjudgment on the machine
Solution: Use a multimeter to measure whether the joint component body is conductive. If it is not, it needs to be repaired or replaced
(6) The two detection wires located under the base are broken and not conductive, which can also cause the detection circuit to be disconnected when the cutting is completed, causing the machine to misjudge
Solution: Use a multimeter to measure the continuity of two detection wires separately. If not, replace them
(7) There is a problem with the internal detection circuit of the machine, causing misjudgment
