Universal Radial 6380 series machine
Wear of the middle or side claws of the plug-in head
Phenomenon: The pins of the parts held by the plug-in head are inserted against the inner edge of the hole at the plug-in position during insertion, which is particularly prone to touching the PWB and causing flying parts
Reason: Due to wear and tear on the middle or edge claws, the width of the area where the plug-in head clamps the part will decrease, and the part thread will move inward on the plug-in head, which is narrower than the standard plug-in width. Therefore, it is easy to touch the edge of the hole during insertion
Solution: Check if the small plane where the middle claw and edge claw grip the parts is worn. If there is wear, replace the middle claw or edge claw
