Common faults of CTA

<1> When CTA pushes the part onto the plug head, the thread of the part is bent. The thread of the part on the chain clamp is straight, but after CTA pushes the part onto the plug head, one or both of the thread of the part on the plug head are bent
The reasons for this phenomenon include:
(1) The stroke of CTA is too large, and it collides with the plug when pushing the part onto the plug head, causing the thread to bend. Solution: Adjust the stroke of CTA so that the gap between it and the plug head is 2 thousandths to 3 thousandths of an inch. Please refer to other data for specific adjustment methods
(2) The height of LATCH is higher than that of the lower guide block, or the angle between LATCH and the lower guide block is smaller. The height of LATCH is higher than that of the lower guide block. When contacting the wire pin, due to the fact that the wire pin is not in the same plane, it is easy to bend the wire pin, and the angle between LATCH and the lower guide block decreases. During CTA action, LATCH contacts the wire pin first, which is easier to bend the wire pin Solution: Adjust the height of LATCH to be flush with the lower guide block, and adjust the angle between LATCH and the lower guide block to a distance of 20 thousandths of an inch. Please refer to other data for detailed adjustment methods
(3) The CTA is misaligned with the plug head, and the part is pushed onto the plug head by the CTA without reaching the clamping part of the edge and middle claws, which makes it easy to cause the part thread to touch the plug head and tilt
Solution: Adjust the alignment between CTA and plugin head. Please refer to other data for specific adjustment methods
