Foot clippers constantly thread the feet
Phenomenon: After the foot trimmer completes the foot trimming action, the thread remains in the area where the incision is formed without cutting. In severe cases, the foot trimmer may pull down the part, causing the PWB to sag or break
Reason: The main reason is that some parts of the foot clipper are severely worn
(1) The gap between the foot clipper and the insulation pin is too large, which has a relatively buffering effect when cutting the feet. This way, when cutting the feet, it is not clean and easy to have some residual parts, causing the cut parts to be disconnected from the parts, and there is a phenomenon of continuous cutting
Solution: Adjust the gap between the stator and the insulation pin to a suitable position
(2) The cutting stroke of the foot clipper is too small. The cutting stroke of the foot clipper is too small, which cannot meet the required standard for cutting the thread, and it will also cause the thread of the part to cut continuously
Solution: Adjust the foot cutting stroke of the foot trimmer so that the moving blade covers the length of the fixed blade from the blade to the blade by 1/3-1/2. Note that the stroke should not be too large, otherwise the tool may be damaged, and the above 1/3-1/2 occurs when the foot is completely lifted
(3) Severe wear on the cutting tool, center pin, and T-shaped pin of the foot clipper can cause the foot clipper to cut the thread continuously. The wear on the cutting edge of the foot clipper tool can make the foot clipper tool blunt and cut the thread continuously. The wear on the center pin or tool center hole and the T-shaped pin or T-shaped pin center hole can cause the tool to shake and cause uneven cutting, resulting in continuous cutting of the thread
Solution: If any of the cutting tools, center pins, and T-pins of the foot clipper are found to be severely worn, immediately replace them with new spare parts. Pay attention to readjusting the stroke of the foot clipper after replacing the cutting tools
(4) The air flow rate of the foot cutting cylinder of the foot clipper is too small, which can also cause insufficient force during the foot cutting process, resulting in continuous thread cutting
Solution: Adjust the air flow regulating valve on the cylinder of the foot clipper and appropriately increase the atmospheric flow rate
(5) The wear and air leakage of the foot cutting cylinder of the foot clipper can also lead to insufficient cutting force during foot cutting, resulting in continuous thread cutting
Solution: First, remove the base and remove the support rod that supports the shear foot, which is the thin rod connecting the pistons in the shear foot cylinder. Check the O-ring on the piston and the two small O-rings on the shear foot cylinder for wear. If there is wear, replace it. If the piston is worn, replace the piston. Note: After removing the base, the base must be readjusted according to the standard
(6) The control solenoid valve of the foot cutting cylinder of the foot clipper is not properly converted, which can also cause the thread to be cut continuously or not
Solution: First, remove the foot cutting cylinder and the steam pipe connected to the solenoid valve, start the machine, and check if there is steam flow in and out of the solenoid valve during the foot cutting action. If not, use a wrench to poke the solenoid valve to see if there is any foot cutting action. If not, it indicates that there is a problem with the solenoid valve. Remove the solenoid valve for maintenance and install it. If the above problem still occurs, replace the solenoid valve. Note: Due to the foot cutting solenoid valve and lifting solenoid valve, The steering solenoid valves (2) are all connected, and one of them is broken, which can affect all four. Therefore, sometimes it is necessary to inspect and maintain the other three solenoid valves at the same time
